Who you are buying from

Payment is taken by Link (Stripe), which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction: Link charges you, issues the receipt and handles the tax. The watch face itself is made and served by us, and these terms cover it.

What you get for €4.99

• One watch face design — the picture, its colours, the numbers you chose and where they sit.
• A six-letter code, and a personal licence to use that design on your own Garmin watches, for as long as you like. One payment, no subscription.
• Later changes to the same face are free. A new face is a new purchase.

You need a supported round Garmin watch, the free FaceForge app from the Connect IQ store, and a phone with an internet connection. The list of supported watches is on the front page.

How it reaches your watch

You install the free app, then scan a QR code or type your six-letter code. The watch asks our server for your design and downloads it in two steps, usually within fifteen minutes. It then checks every few minutes so the weather, date and steps on the face stay current.

If our server ever goes away, the face on your watch keeps working. It renders from what it has already downloaded — it simply stops getting updates. We will say so here and by email before we ever stop serving designs.

Your right to change your mind

A watch face is digital content delivered immediately. Under EU consumer law you have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance purchase, but that right ends once delivery of digital content begins with your agreement — and by buying you ask us to deliver at once and accept that the right falls away.

We refund anyway if it did not work. If the face never reaches your watch, or it is not what you asked for, write to [email protected] and you get your €4.99 back, no argument. Link can also refund you directly for up to sixty days after the purchase.

The picture

• Your words, and any photo you upload, stay yours. You give us permission to use them to draw your face and to keep serving it to your watch.
• The picture is generated by AI from your description. It is not drawn by hand and it is not exclusive: someone describing something similar may get something similar. We cannot promise a design is unique, and machine-generated images may not be protected by copyright at all.
• The design is for your own watches. Reselling it, or passing the code around so other people's watches use it, is not allowed — a code locks to the first watch that claims it.
• Ask us to draw something we consider illegal, hateful, or someone else's trademark, and we will refuse and refund.

What we do not promise

A watch face is decoration. Do not rely on it for navigation, timing a race, or anything medical — the numbers it shows come from your watch's own sensors and can be wrong or stale. Beyond the refund above, and beyond what Slovenian and EU consumer law gives you regardless of anything written here, we are not liable for losses arising from using the face.

Law and complaints

Slovenian law applies, and nothing here takes away the rights consumer law gives you. If you are unhappy and we cannot sort it out by email, you may take the matter to the consumer dispute resolution body competent in Slovenia.

Changes

If we change these terms, the version in force when you bought is the one that applies to your purchase. The date at the top says when this version started.
